Create a ShipStation label when a Shopify order is created

This template will:

  • Automatically fulfill all shippable products in the order, create a shipping label, and attach shipping details to the order's Shopify Order Notes field.

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

Step 1

In the ShipStation Create/Update Order step, create a credential connecting MESA to your ShipStation account. Fill out the Key and Secret fields.

Not sure how to fill in the Key and Secret fields? Log in to your ShipStation account, then click on the gear icon in the top right corner.

On the left sidebar, click on Account and then API Settings.

Locate your API Key and Secret under the API Keys section.

Copy the value next to API Key and Secret. 

Step 2

Go back to the workflow, paste them into the Key and Secret field. 

Hit the Add Credential button.

Step 3

Hit the Done button in the Account Credentials section.

Step 4

In the ShipStation Create Label for Order step, the credential you just created has already been selected.

Step 5

Hit the Done button in the Account Credentials section when you have finished reviewing this step.

Step 6

In the Shopify Create Order Fulfillment step, locate the Location ID field and select the location.

Step 6

Hit the Done button at the top of the Step Configuration section.

Step 7

At the top of or below the workflow, hit the Save button to save your changes.

Step 8

Hit the toggle to switch it to On when you are ready to start using the workflow.
