Easily Start a Return with Forms and Create a Gorgias Support Ticket
Simplify the return process by allowing customers to initiate returns directly from their order history page using Forms by MESA. This workflow template creates a new support ticket in Gorgias, including complete order details and the return reason. Streamline return management, improve customer experience, and ensure smooth support follow-up with automated ticket creation.

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.
Step 1
In the Gorgias Ticket Create step, connect Gorgias with MESA.
You'll need to add your Gorgias subdomain. For example, if your Gorgias dashboard URL (after you log-in) is https://subdomain-example.gorgias.com/app your Gorgias subdomain would be: subdomain-example
If you have already created a Gorgias credential, select the existing credential from the drop-down menu.
Click Sign in with Gorgias.
Step 2
Scroll down to locate the Messages > Sender section. Fill in the Email field with your preferred email address. This would be the primary email address of a Gorgias user.
Step 3
Click the Save changes button at the top of or below the workflow.
Step 4
Open the Form trigger (first step) and click the copy icon next to the Form Embed Code field.
In a separate tab, navigate to your Shopify Admin, then Settings, and then Checkout and accounts.

Paste the Form Embed Code in the Order status page field under the Additional scripts section. Then, hit Save.

Step 5
Go back to your workflow and click the Save changes button at the top of or below the workflow.
Step 6
At the top or bottom of the page, switch Off to On to turn on your workflow to start automating.
Tips
Your order return form will appear on the order status page after a customer places an order.
You can preview the order return form by going to any order in your store. Click the More actions drop-down and select View order status page from the drop-down menu.
