Manually Capture Funds for Risky Shopify Orders

🔧  Setup is needed:
✏️  Configure Shopify settings

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

Step 1

Ensure that your Shopify store is configured to manually capture payments. 

In the bottom left corner of your Shopify admin page, navigate to Settings > Payments.

Step 2

Select Manually capture payment for orders in the Payment Capture section.

Step 3

Click the Save button.

Step 4

Return back to your MESA workflow and add an email address in the Approval step under Notification Emails. 

Step 5

At the top of or below the workflow, click the Save button to save your changes.

Step 6

At the top or bottom of the page, switch Off to On to turn on your workflow to start automating.

Step 7

Once you receive an approval email, go to the Approvals tab in the workflow and click either submit or ignore this order.

If you select submit, it's important to choose either "Void" or "Capture Payment" in the Approval step.
