Send Typeform Responses to Google Sheets

Turn every Typeform survey response into a new Google Sheets row. When someone fills out your form, their answers appear in your spreadsheet instantly. Perfect for collecting feedback, leads, or any data you need organized and accessible for your team.

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

Step 1

In your Google Sheets account, create a new spreadsheet with column headers. Your column headers should correspond with the questions in your Typeform survey.

Step 2

In this template, locate the Form Response Created trigger.

Click Connect with Typeform to connect MESA to your Typeform account.

In the Form ID field, select your form in the pre-populated list.

Step 3

In the Google Sheets Add Row step, click Sign in with Google to connect MESA to your Google Sheets account.

Click Allow when prompted for MESA to access your Google Account.

In the Spreadsheet field, click Select Spreadsheet. Select the spreadsheet you created and click Select.

In the Sheet field, select the sheet in the pre-populated list. If you have not renamed your sheet, this is Sheet1.

Step 4

Click Retrieve Fields to retrieve fields from your Google Sheets spreadsheet.

For each field, you will need to select the variable from the trigger. Click the Insert variable icon on the right side of the field.

Click on Typeform Form Response Created on the variables selector sidebar menu. Scroll down till you find the section for your form responses. It starts with Form Response > Answers...

Select the Value that matches the field.

Step 5

Click Save changes.

Step 6

At the top or bottom of the page, switch Off to On to turn on your workflow to start automating. The workflow will trigger when a form response is created.
