Daily Reddit Scraper

Pull fresh Reddit posts and comments from your favorite subreddits every day. This template grabs new content from specified communities and sends the data to Slack. Perfect for tracking brand mentions, monitoring competitors, researching trends, or gathering user feedback. Set it once and receive daily updates without manually browsing Reddit.

🔧  Setup is needed:
➕  Add your Subreddit URL
✏️  Update the AI prompt
🔌  Connect with Slack
🗒️  Select your Slack channel

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

Step 1

In the Reddit Get List of Subreddit's Posts step, add your Subreddit URL in the URL field.

Step 2

Scroll down and locate the AI Prompt step.

Look for the following text. Replace the placeholder copy with your details.

- [INSERT YOUR DOMAIN / PRODUCT / AREA]

- ["INSERT KEYWORDS HERE"]

- [YOUR DOMAIN / PRODUCT / AREA]

- [YOUR COMPANY / TEAM]

Step 3

Scroll down again and locate the Slack Send Message step.

Click on the Sign in with Slack button to connect your Slack account with MESA.

You will be taken to a permission screen. Click Allow.

Step 4

Invite the @MESA user to the channel you would like to post in. Type @MESA in a new message and click the Invite Them button. Slack will confirm that the user has been added.

Go back to the MESA workflow. In the Slack Send Message step, select your Channel.

Step 5

At the top or bottom of the workflow steps, click Save changes.

Step 6

Switch Off to On to turn on your workflow to start automating. Runs will trigger depending on the frequency set in the Schedule trigger (first step).
